I just received mine in California yeaterday, I'd
give it at least 3 more days before I got too worried about it.

Got mine in Michigan on Friday. Tried it out. Not sure how this thing is supposed to work.
How soon until a thread in the Group Buy Results section gets started? I have questions!!
Rule .303
Absolutely beautiful mold. Flawless. Get it good and hot. These are dropped from Lyman 2, BHN about 11. 262 grains with my alloy. Loaded over 3.8 gr Unique at OAL 1.25". in Hornady brass, WLP. Probably will go with 20:1 to obturate a bit better. Barrel good but cylinder chambers are "generous". Will chrony when I get a chance.
Thanks for organizing this group buy. I would buy another mold from Miha in a heartbeat.
This is my 1st mould - do you HAVE to lube?
WTB: Magma Star Lube Sizer
WTB: Ballisti-cast or Magma Casting Machines
These bullets came out of my mould at .455, so you might be able to load without sizing. There are lots of ways to lube, ie pan, Lee Alox, that do not involve a lube sizer, BUT, you better lube or be ready to de lead, even at low velocities, in one of these older revolvers. Just my own experience. Good luck!
I lube the pins on mine with Bullplate. They are a VERY tight fit but will loosen up with time. I push on them with my glove after the mould is open to get them to move, or if new just push on them with a wooden hammer handle. No beating required.

Actually, must say I can't fault Canada Customs at all with this item: my mould was delivered today and, as others have already noted, it is an absolute masterpiece of machining! If it produces bullets even half as good as it looks, I'll be doubly pleased.
The top punch for the luber/sizer is a very nice extra, as are the little bottle of pin lube, the extra pin retainers and the two allen wrenches. (Not that most of us really need extra allen wrenches, but they can go into the container the mould blocks will live in and thus be very handy when required ...)
Thanks to both Miha and the organizer(s) of this group buy!

This is not a bug - it is a feature.......
You can all ways loosen things, but never tighten them......
Just put the mold together, preheat it, lube the leading pins and give it few dry runs...... NEVER USE FORCE!!!!!
With time mold will "seat in" and you are good to go.
It will be super tight when you put it together. Do not force or hit anything. Just nudge with a dowel to get the pins moving. Put a tiny dab of lube on the pins and heat it up. Do not put much lube on. You do not want to contaminate the cavities themselves. Heat mold slowly but get it good and hot and start gently casting. 15 -20 casts in, you will notice the Cramer pins start to glide. Mine are as smooth as silk, now!
I got mine today also. It looks beautiful. I wonder if the fine gentleman who built them would be willing to do a run of molds for the 'manstopper' Webley bullet with the hollow point? I'll bet that would be impressive on watermelons.

Probably can find drawing and will post if found.
Please look at post number 7 on this link for a diagram of the Webley Man stopper: http://britishmilitariaforums.yuku.c...-#.UH0nfr95h0s
webley mk IV is do-able.
I was out at the range yesterday when the mailman tried to deliver my mold, so was up at sparrow-fart this morning to pick it up at the Post Office. Have the lead melting as we speak!!
Mold looks great, wonderful workmanship, & can't wait to start casting bullets & get my three .455 revolvers down to the range. Thanks to Miha & Onty for making this happen.
Received my mold in Ontario, yesterday. Nice looking. what kind of lead mix is everybody using in it. I've got lots of wheel weights, waiting to be melted down. This will be my first mold.
