50 GUNS they should bring back!

There is a real interesting thread on the wheelguns section that really is making me think of all the great guns that have gone by the wayside in favor of cheaper, utility weapons that can be pushed on the general consumer for higher profit. So, Not just handguns, but ANY firearms, what would you like to see again? I will start.

Remington "Nylon" 77 and 66 models.
    Winchester 21 double shotgun.
    Remington 40X target rifles
Pre 64 magnum action (H&H length) winchesters

If you would like to include a story of why you would like to see these again or share a memory, I would like to hear about it!
I came into this world kicking, screaming, and covered in someone elses blood. I plan to go out the same way.

Ha! Now there is a classic! My dad has several, but he loves his 7-08 carbine. He also has a 6mm in left hand bolt, but right eject! Now go figure on that one!

Winchester 1897 pump shotguns. I grew up on one, and I loved it.
    1. Colt woodsman pistols
    2. Remington model 8 (spoken of in hushed and reverent terms) My dad has one with a 30 round clip.
    3. Don't hate me for throwing the Remington Nylon 66 in there too, they were cheap, but amazing.
    4. The pre-64 model 70 goes without saying (I know they claim that they are remaking them, but they are so expensive, you might as well get a vintage rifle)

I still say Ruger should bring back the Security Six and Speed Six.
I've been wearing my Security Six all day today. I love this gun.

As far as long guns go, I agree with goodsteel about the 1897 Winchester shotgun. I'd even buy a 1887 as well if they made them again.
Give us this day our daily lead.

If you don't want 1984 you're going to need some 1776.

    Ruger #3 in, let's say, .22 Hornet, .30-30, .30-40, .32-40, .357 Max, and, maybe, .375 Win.

    Real FN Mausers...any caliber.

I grew up reading Mac Bolan--so for me it would be the .44 Automag. I'm not sure what I would do with it, but man those things were cool!

Hmmm, not sure if ther is enough space but a few that come to mind is the Winchester 1911SL, 1897/1903 Colt Hammerless in .32 & 380, all the Colt Snakes (Cobra to the Anaconda), single shot Stevens "Favorite" rolling block (except in center fire calibers & .22S-LR), have to think of a few more.

Yes on the Winchester Model 97! I too cut my teeth on one well over a half century ago. I still use them to this day 10's of thousands of shotshells later!

The full line of Winchester Model 92's and Model 86's too. I like to see the Winchester Hi-Wall and Low-Wall singleshots also return.

Maybe model 23 Savage. The only problem is about everything some company tries is a cheap poor excuse for what it once was. What happened to those US Firearms Lightning rifles?

    The 1903-A3's and A4's, also.
I heard, but havent verified that someone was either already reproducing the garands or was going to. I dont remember who.

My dad just bought a new production military (semi-auto only) Browning BAR made in 2009. Now that is a weapon that MEN had to carry!!! OOF!
