28 gauge light game slug load data

The 28 gauge light game slug is a highly accurate medium range slug for use in smooth bored barrels.

This light game slug is designed to fit into a standard 2 1/2" (65 mm) and 2 3/4" (70 mm) shotgun shells and should be finished with a roll crimp closure. It is not necessary or indeed recommended to use a overshot card on top of this load.

I just read the Brenneke is coming out with them. I think it was in Rifle Shooter magazine. Looks like a downsized version of their rifled slug.
I keep trying to stay afloat but can't help from shooting holes in my own boat.

Cool! I'm waiting on my Ithaca 37 26" straight stock 28 ga now.
I've been wondering if the T/C round ball mold for the .56 Renegade might be used in 28. The mold casts a .550 ball, and gets used with .010 patches in the Renegade. I had to return my M37, but before I did I measured the bore at .549.
