    Hang Fire,

Since my first Single Six in about 1960 - 61, it has always been RUGERS.

Currently have 4 wheel guns (two SP101, one security six and one .44 Redhawk) and 3 semi-autos (two .22 markII and one P345) as well as a number of long guns.

There have been a number of others of the same brand over the years, and none left home because of anything like a defect.

Sounds like you have had a good run of luck with Ruger handguns.

But more than a few have not.
