Yeah. I felt bad when I thought I was alone, let one go and then a co-worker walked up and asked me a question. The E.M.T.'s thought he had a stroke.......

I just made some baked beans. That would be quite a supper if we combined them.

I made about 12 quarts and 24 pints of pickles this past summer (June/July 2013)...... They turned out way too salty and vinegary for us...... Therefore, they are perfect for brine (ie, boiled eggs, puppy peckers, etc.....

Former coworker could clear a 2,000 seat entertainment area at the casino, if he ate a dozen of these they would be calling out hazmat crews...

Could you please explain what a puppy pecker is?

Trying to imagine why you would pickle them.

The most important thing is the brine, taste test it first, if your brine tastes good, your eggs will too. I also add about a tablespoon or so of pickling spice to some cider vinegar, bring it to a boil and let it steep awhile then strain it through a tea strainer....steg

Go to Wally World and get a big gallon jar of the oversize pickles for $5 and you've got a perfect jar for making pickled eggs.

I've tried straining the spices out and I don't think they taste as good. I leave them in now.

Sweetpea, sorry about that. It's a name my dad always called lil smokies (cocktail sausages). I guess it is just habit for me to refer to them as such.....
