Dumb question here ... why do they cost more ? ...
lower numbers in production ?
specialized production ?
seems that military demand would be right up there with civilian maybe ....just an ignorant out look at the harder CCI 34's , tula 7.62 , wolf and others ....

I don;t know why, but would guess just because they can becuase they're "better".

When I worked at Permatex my boss told me about changing the packaging to have less colors, studies were showing the retro look of older one or two color packaging helped sell your product. So you could charge a little more and the packaging also cost less to produce because it had less colors.

Because they can. Oddball, special order, not so many in the whole civilian primer
system, etc. Anything out of the ordinary costs more.
