Is there a picture or drawing of this boolit anywhere in captivity? I might be interested but I always like to see a pic or drawing of a boolit.

Here is the drawing for the small pins.
    Here is Mihec's CAD rendering.
That has the large pins. I would like to NOT include those.

The original cherry is intact (I believe), so this shouldn't be a difficult Rerun IF we don't get crazy with pin types.

If those large pins make a boolit that acts like the Rainier hollowpoints I wouldn't want them. Everything I shoot with those just blows up, and makes a mess. Gota love the Wulf!

heck, even being local to the Wulf (made just yards from one of my hunting spots) I do believe the phantom is better if and this is the big if, if you can get those jefferys brass at an affordable price!

If this buy is still open I want one with all pins. I haven't looked, are 50 cal gas checks readily available or are they hard to find?

BBN, .50 Hornady gas checks are easy to find on the net. Or you could try sage outdoors for some aluminium ones cheap. Another option is to get a freechex III and make your own gas checks for the cost of roof flashing.

    big bore nut,

Gas checks are not a problem. One of our members make em.
Take a look at the bottom of this page.
    You'll see a banner "Group_Buy Login here!"
click there and then check out 'DJs Corner' -- Gas checks, gas checks and more gas checks.
You may need to register for access, I don't remember.

A dozen. How many are needed to get this small group buy active? Frozone, get over to beyond 556 and pimp this mold to the Beo crowd over there. I will hit up ARfcom.

even if the Lg HP is causing fragmentation that's not always a bad thing? Isn't that the "goal" of many pentas anyways?

    I can't.
I told em to "take their pissant little forum and shove it up their mouse hole."
Also that "I wanted nothing more to do with that collection of a couple dozen drooling, halfwit, mouthbreathing, inbred, sister marrying, morons".
Actually, I used a Few more adjectives in the original.

Some 'preacher' was pushing a useless turd of a "Muzzle Brake" as the best thing since sliced bread, when in truth it wasn't even a good flash hider.
It would have been useless as a Brake.
Apparently all you need do is to 'claim' you're a preacher to not lie.

    Chris: It is.
But remember, the Penta pins on this are about the same size as the large HPs. Plus they have a 'controlled fragmentation' effect.
I really don't see the need for both large and Penta pins.
I can tell you from gel tests that the small pins work Very well with soft lead. They mushroom almost perfectly.
The pentas work with WDWW as a frag.

I don't know I seem to remember the original 2 cavity at $110.
We need to decide on exactly what pins to include, Those can change the price a lot.
I propose 2 pins only - a small round HP and a larger Penta pin.
At least one person wants a blank pin, and I think MiHec can do that as an 'option'.

I need to contact MiHec and get a solid quote.

I've tried to join them several times personally but their site thinks I'm a spammer and they haven't replied to my messages from last year. So maybe not being able to join is a good thing!
