    Scope mount savage 23c

    Hi I was just wondering what type of scope rings/mount will suit this savage 23c rail. I will be picking this rifle up shortly. It will be my 12 year old sons first rifle and will be putting a 3-9x40. What is the measurement for the claw of the mount to grab onto?

    Should take standard rings if those are Weaver or Weaver type bases. Go to Weavers website and they'll have all the measurements.
