    Cowboy Action loading blocks

Here are a few pics of cowboy action loading blocks I made for my girlfriend and her dad...

They use them for carrying the 5 rounds x 2 pistols and 10 rounds of rifle ammo to the loading table.

She shoots .38SPL, he shoots 44-40 and 45 Colt.

The skull and bones one is for my girlfriend... the rest of her rig all has skulls on it and her favorite colour is purple - thus the purpleheart.

And the other one... her dad goes by "Buckshot" - so I faked it with steel BBs made to look like they're embedded in the wood.

Walter - I thought of a leather loop or something to hold them together - came up with a pair of magnets to keep the top aligned when closed... it all pivots on a sex bolt/Chicago screw in the top corner.

Made the pistol holders to look like a cylinder shape, since they often use a different bullet or load in the pistols than rifles - keeps them distinct and easy to tell at a glance.
