In advance sorry for re-energizing an old thread.

I've been using the Lyman 452460 SWC for a long time. At one time I used RN molds but stopped because in automatics the SWC's did much better at bowling pins. On steel knock down targets an edge hit did not deflect and knocked it down. My .45 ACP and 45 colt revolvers (which also had cylinders chamferred) also took them well if taper crimped. Though not used much my .45 Colt 94AE rifle also fed them well.

The one down side was the smoke from the lube but now with powder coating, that issue is solved.

Lee 452228. Classic hardball profile and 2 lube grooves. I have had very good luck with them.
Mould forth, and load in peace.
