    CZ 452 American question

I have one on order but unable so far to figure out if standard 22 rimfire scope mounts will work or if i will have to have the CZ mounts like my 527 takes.

    Any one know?
    Thanks
    Pac

Check out www.rimfirecentral.com section about CZ and Brno rifles. Lots of very knowledgeable people there willing to help. Lots of things you can easily do to the rifle to make it even better for very little money. Great rifle, except that you will start to want the other ones to go along with it. The full stock is great as is the UL. Then there is the 453 and the 455. They tend to love Wolfe MT. Mine even does nicely with cheap Remington.

Get the Leupold rings, 11 mm. Height depends on your scope.

Speaking of Reminrton ammo i hope that the CZ likes Rem subsonic hp's.My early 1980s nylon 66 loves them.It will honestly shoot 10 into less than a half inch(somtimes much less) at 30 yards. I have a bunch of them put back.
By the way i ran a brush only thru the barrel today twice and that might have been the fourth or fifth time that the barrel has ever been cleaned in thirty years and countless rounds.
Also if the rifle failed to function /cycle or jamed the next time i shot it that would be a first for it.
I think i would be heart broken.
But I do promise to treat the CZ better.

The CZ 452 American has a 3/8" dovetail not 11mm so the standard rimfire scope mounts will work. I prefer the D.I.P. Picatinny rail because all of my scopes are set in Warne QD rings.

I could have sworn my rings were 11 mm, but they are 13 mm.

It's a bit confusing because not every 452 has the same size dovetail. See the chart in the link that Ickisrulz posted. The CZ 452 American has a 3/8" dovetail.

    This is D.I.P.'s chart
