powder selection is not very good locally so I need to wait until enough people want to go in on a group buy to make ordering worth while.

A fellow shooter laughed at me and said, "What will you ever do with 12 pounds of 4759?".

"Shoot it behind cast BOOLITS I said smugly."

21.5 grains is also my BEST load in 8X57 (175 gr. RNFP GC GB) and I am certainly going to run it through the Type 99s to see what they will do.

I will say that 18.0 of 10B101 behind a RCBS or Ranch Dog was a fantastic performer at 50.

Have not got around to trying it at 100 . . . YET

I have 7 lbs of SR 4759 and 9 lbs of 300MP. In the .308 Win a Lyman 314299 sized to 0.311" over 21.5 grs of 4759 is about perfect. 22.5 grs of 300MP with the same bullet will shoot a group that is indistinguishable. Think of 300MP as 4759 that will meter.

I will be getting back to the arisaka this week.
    A little more testing with H 4895.
25 grains gave me 3moa(shot at 100 yards) so I'm trying 26 and 27 to see if there are any changes. I'm trying to avoid heavier recoil. Although not harsh I was surprised by the 25 grain loads recoil.
I also was able to get the front sight to drift. I have had it soaking in Kroil for several days. I needed about 3" correction to center my group up.

I am getting excited to try the type 99 at local CMP vintage military match.
    The best load tested was
314299 with COWW+2% tin water quenched. They drop at .314ish
Run them through a .314" push through sizer to seat gas checks.
    2500 pan lube.
    25 grains H4895
    PPU 7.7 brass
    Wolf LR
Gave the best average groups of 3moa
Velocity was a touch over 1500fps.
Point of aim point of impact at 100 yards required rear sight set to 300m
Im,thinking 650-700m should get me close to the black at 200 yards.
