    Adjusting Gas Port Pressure

    Hi all.
I have a KBI Charles Daly Field 3" and I have been using factory 3 inch buckshot out of it. Problem is..... I have started tearing the rims off the shells where the extractor grips the shell. Is there any way to adjust the gas port pressure? I know some are adjustable and some arent. I am going to pull the barrel and forearm off and take a look, I was just wondering if someone knew the best way to do it.

    Thanks All.
    Trey

Does it do this with all shells, or just the buckshot? You're not running Federal brand buck shot by any chance are you? Tried several brands?
I was having similar problems with Federal shells at one time. Seems they would expand in the chamber and grip the walls. Very hard to extract.
I am not familiar with the gas port on a CD shotgun.
    Can you post pictures?
Precision in the wrong place is only a placebo.
