    Click, paid!!! Whoohoo!!!

Such small group buys for this one. I wounder if people are afraid to try lead in a 5.56, or AR? I have had good luck with the blackout with cast, but the Lee Bator sucks in a 5.56 with that ugly, short, fat nose it has. Sure didn't become Lee Master Bator during my trials.

All right! Mines paid also. Didn't expect this one would be ready so soon, thought my 10mm/.40 would be next. It'll probably be ready shortly, boy, this is getting expensive!

I am snagging a "spare" from Mihec as I did not get on the list prior to GB closure. The indication a few days ago that it was months away lulled me into a state of procrastination.

Now I need gas checks and a Star sizer die -- and this saves me money how?

Procrastination gets you on the second string. Seriously... MiHec is having a lot of trouble with the rifle cherries he gets from a supplier... they are breaking from chips in the cavity while cutting. He is working on a new supplier, thus the time line problem. It does take time to get tooling as you want it to be. He had this cherry already and took advantage of it. I expect to see some pistol GBs show up as I just sent him about 14 of them for cherries to be made.

My postman just delivered mine to my front door. It is a pretty device. Clean, temp cycle and then to the casting pot.

The mailman hand delivered today one fine looking Mihec mold. To bad I am busy for the next three weeks. I wont know how this casts for the next month or so, but I have no doubt it will be a winner.

Yep, got mine today, along with the 402-190, whoo hoo! Cast some of the .40s today, just beautiful! Will be a week or two before I can get to this one. Probably need a second pot for harder alloy. Good thing I save all this money casting.

I just cast over 500 boolits with my unit. I used pure linotype and they came out well. They dropped at 0.226+ and 60 grains. One can cast full speed. Actually one needs to cast fast in order to keep the creature hot. It took very little time to get a good sized pile.

To get it broken in a bit I first cast some with the COWW that was in the pot after casting some food for my 38-55. They came out at 62 grains and a tad smaller. I'll not shoot those but may use some for lapping out the sizer die if necessary.

Got back from a trip to Montana yesterday, and found the mold in the mail. Sure is a Beauty. (Click on picture to enlarge)

It will be a few months before I can get to casting with this mold as we are moving household items to a 2nd home in Montana; but I sure am excited about this mold. Look forward to seeing results from others and loads they develop for it.
