I used a couple jugs of 814 and it looked just like 231 but it loaded like unique. You should start as if its 231 but plan on working up to unique powder levels if needed to find the speed of your lot.

Is this currently on the market, or historically for sale?

    Very nice burn rate.

I have experimented extensively with wc814 (out of 5.56 military blanks) and wc818 ( out if 7.62 m82 blanks) both are very useful. Wc814 is in the 231/ unique burn range and wc818 is in the hs7/ blue dot range. Very useful for pistol (9mm, 45acp, 357 mag, 44 mag) and for shotshell applications
