Dan, glad to be of help. Most shooters, unless they are top drawer match shooters, care less about gunpowder lot numbers.
I have cans going back to the '50's and earlier, but can't prove it - primarily DuPont. Their lot numbers couldn't be deciphered by code breakers IMO. Have even contacted the DuPont Hagley Museum for their code logic then - nothing
This one is one of the sticklers: it's FFFg and the lot is 03 - 106. No idea what the 106 means? Another FFg can is 04 - 30. The 04 should be 02
