    rossi R92 availability

My first post, but I have been lurking awhile.

I've been looking for a stainless Rossi R92 in 45 Colt, 20" barrell for several months.
The auction sites don't have it, Davidsons or Buds are always out, google search finds many retailers, who are also out and my local store carries a few lever guns at best.

Is there a reason why these imports are so hard to find? I would love a Marlin or Winchester lever gun, but they seem even harder to find and usually out of my price range.

    Thanks

    BTW I'm in Central Iowa

Sometimes on GunBroker you'll find the online guys selling there too. Seems like Rossi has runs on their guns so they are here and then start to dwindle and then the factor hits up another round etc.

I agree with RobS, rossi seems to do runs on a model, right now it is 357/38 models and the ranch hand. They are everywhere, ranch hands seem to be the big run now can be had in blue or stainless. 45cl available in blue but not stainless.357 in both stainless and blue.

    What's an 'R92'?

The gunstore I bought my stainless M92 .44 mag from last summer had some Rossi M92 carbines in .45 Colt on the shelf.

R92 is the model number. I'm not familiar with M92, wonder if they are the same?

I know you are looking for stainless, 20", round, .45lc. Here is blue .45 and stainless .454 you could shoot .45s in:

    I love my Rossi/Puma 92 in .44, case hardened with 24" octagon.
As far as Buds I am not endorsing them. I have ordered a couple of guns from them including my Rossi 92.
