I'm already signed up for a .311 but I'm now wondering about a .316 as a paper patching boolet for shooting in 8mm rifles. Wonder if 150gr would be too light for that use?

I don't suppose it's possible to mix cavity sizes in the same block, is it?

I'm already signed up for a .311 but I'm now wondering about a .316 as a paper patching boolet for shooting in 8mm rifles. Wonder if 150gr would be too light for that use? It should work fine. As long as you can engrave the patch into the throat and keep the base of the patched boolit out of the powder room, it will work.

I don't suppose it's possible to mix cavity sizes in the same block, is it? He hasn't done that before and I doubt he will now... so no.

I'm ready to pull the trigger.

I would like a 4 cavity 311 mold as well.

I cast with a single cavity steel mold of the same profile and it seems like a nice boolit that is cheap to shoot, but it takes sooooooooo long to get a pile of them cast. This mold will compliment my MP 45 270 SAA very nicely.

    Thanks

Is this buy closing soon? I might be in for a .311 but it will depend on time.
