Well, it's been over a year and folks are dropping out left and right. Is this going to happen or do I need to shop elsewhere?
Yep, it probably has been that long. Most people here are in for the long haul and want a particular mold. This mold design is the creation of BaBore who is a fine engineer who figures and tests until he gets what he wants. I think this was either a second or third try to get a suitable accurate boolit for the 375 H&H. The mold maker, MiHec, turns out superlative molds well worth the wait and he is quite overworked doing this. Supply and demand is a problem with most everything we want now. You can get a mold elsewhere, but it won't be this one........ do you really want anything else?
I bought a similar mould from Accurate and am still in on this buy. I want an HP option and who knows, it may shoot better.
I have something to use in the meantime and have been thru a few Lee buys that went close to 2 years, one of those turned out to be the best 45 Colt bullet I have.
Patience is a virtue. It is also rewarded with a great product.
