I believe fully the creator laughs when I plan for tomorrow for tomorrow belongs to no one, but I have enough for today so I guess that's enough.

And along those lines I have used 80lbs in milk jugs for weights to be able to work out since I broke my pelvis in July. I am 2 months post surgery and off of crutches but another month from being considered "healed" so exercising is important.

Tomorrow is promised to no one...,I fell off the roof....I could have broke my neck. Blessing in disguise

Yes I do and I thought I was safe by stacking my lead in the corner of my on slab garage, until one day, I noticed a large crack, going from corner to corner, in the slab. Time to spread the lead out alittle, as it was too much weight, for the concrete. Glad I have rerod in that floor.

4,879 lbs of wheel weight lead and counting. Hard to say what a lifetime supply is. Some years we get out more to shoot then others.

    Very true.

By the time most of us can afford to stock up, we wind up shooting less. I have a LOT of stuff and most of it was acquired over the last 10 years. I am shooting less than 25% of what I used to. Many reasons for that but it is what it is. I am in my late 60's and unless things change, I will not use it all up. But that is a good thing.

I will likely start selling some stuff off not because I need the funds but to free up space.

If you say you have a lifetime supply you need to shoot more!

Not sure but for what I do have I need roughly 82lbs of powder and 140,000 primers. This is what I need to work on for now. Sorry I worked that out, ha ha

I probably had a lifetime supply. Gave it all away.

    Then I started to cast.

As I posted earlier to a similar response... there are more than a few of us on this board that are not young, shoot as much as we want and have stores to last Methuselah.

I recently went back and reread this entire thread. Its kind of sad the number of those members that no longer post, for whatever reason.

I have beyond a lifetime supply and will not be tempted to add to the pile. I have a lot of COWW already in ingots and hundreds of pounds of very clean isotope lead also in ingot form. I have more tin than I can ever hope to use even with my standard alloy being the 5% tin Lyman #2.

I salvage lead from cast pipe joints and lead water lines all year long . Also get free ww but a lot of them are zinc-steel . Being a plumber has some advantages .
