Would the HP design have a small metplat when cast as a solid or would it have a round nose? Now that was a problem I tried to solve. I erred on the side of ease to the mold maker there. If the HP pin was reversed, it would make it a flat nose (with probably ragged edges due to the curve and pin base). If MiHec made a blank pin, the same thing might happen. Making a RN pin to replace the HPs would be DIFFICULT to match up (a thousandth is a whole lot there). I really intended by the choices that this GB would either be a solid or one of two types of HPs. The machining to have a really well matched flat nose, I think, is a little too much to ask for the price. I know that this is a difficult design to be able to cast a solid and HP, I'm just trying to picture what it look like and how it would cast.
