I'm hoping it does get up and running. I have no clue what the wait time is for the GB I'm part of. I find it odd that a thread like this isn't required for the manufacturers to run group buys. So no one misunderstands. I am patiently waiting and not in a hurry.

I agree completely. We wait patiently but it is not unreasonable to expect a published list of the production order. A time-table need not be made but an ordered list should be easy enough to compile and keep updated.

You can assume 6-12 months wait time and you won't be disappointed very often. Patience is a virtue but I admit I'm ready for the Mihec Webley moulds any time now.

Published schedules don't make your mould arrive any faster and they can't always be accurate anyway. It doesn't cost anything to put your name on a list and you can pull out of a GB if your circumstances change later on.

Sign up on the GB and get a mould in 6 - 12 months OR don't sign up and don't get anything. Maybe Walmart will start selling custom made 4C hollow point moulds some day but don't hold your breath.

They should still have a list. Don't need production dates. Just what's currently being made and what molds are next. That really isn't asking much.

It is a one man shop. I would rather he spend time making moulds rather than updating a list on line.

Be patient people. If you aren't willing to wait and be patient then don't order! It is that simple. We all know the situation going in, if you don't like it run this way then don't buy.

It is too early for a glass of whine.

Its not about patience its about planning. I'm trying to get several boolits designed and it would be helpful to know where one is in line. It helps to budget money. It helps to determine whether one should place an order for something else in the meantime or whether you'll have your golden Miha bullet in time for a competition or a hunt.

And it takes 5min a week to keep a list updated in this thread. So you all can be patient if Miha would only do us the favor.

Those "glass of whine" comments are ignorant and out of line. A business man who neglects communication does so at the peril of his business.

I've seen one-man shops go from worshipped on boards like this to being run out of town on a rail simply because of poor communication. Miha makes awesome products and I don't want to see that happen to him. I complain because I care.

I don't understand all the animosity about the schedule but it seems to be a real problem for some people. Everybody is wired different i guess. I imagine it's fairly hard to accurately estimate timings on a group buy because there are variables in play. But on the bright side if there is a schedule produced then we'll have another reason to rant when it's not accurate. Because it won't be.

Doesn't have to be set in stone or even a schedule. Just an ordered list, and it can change over time if need be.

And it doesn't have to be animosity if people wouldn't belittle a fair request some of us are making. I've seen those kind of people on other boards and they encourage bad business practices as acceptable. In the long run those types cause more trouble. So yea, they really bother me.

Yes, he does do it at his own peril. I get that. Totally.

I also don't think he "owes" us anything. Those of us who remember the old days of Lee group buys understand waiting. We loved thru days where we waited a year and hoped we got a decent product. Sometimes it was sent back and remade, after another long wait.

I see it as whining. Sorry, it bother me. We can wait or we can not wait. It is that simple.

It won't be the patient people who run him out on a rail. Some of us realize that we owe him, not the other way around. I think we are fortunate to have a guy who makes that good a product.

We will just have to free to disagree here. Me, I will just wait quietly.

Forget the dates, that just leaves it open for complaints.

I think just a list of the planned production order is all we really need.

We all know from the moment we sign up for the Group Buy a bill will come.
We know again the moment the Group Buy closes a bill will come.
We will know that when the Group buy ahead of ours on the list is run a bill will come.
We will know that when ours is being machined a bill will come.
We know we have to pay up when the bill arrives in our inbox.

know one should act surprised when it appears. We generally have months to stash cash.
If somethings come up just PM Mihec, make an arangement and maybe post that your spot is open for someone else..

    this ain't rocket science.. lol

Again, I think a list of production order is all we really require to feel warm and fuzzy.
    no need for dates.

Note: I generally forget I'm on a GB until I get an email bill. Then I'm like what's that... look it up and go.. heck yeah..
