    Oh man thanks for this thread. I have been pulling my hair out trying to get cast to fly out of my Mauser.

    I could not find any data for 2400 so I was hanging around 16- 17 gr. Was not getting good results.
    I was thinking I needed to go higher.

    I also tried 16.5 gr Herco... Not so good.

    Ok back to the basement....

    My Turk likes 17 gr/ 2400 for a little above 1700 fps. I shoot a pretty soft alloy, could probably ease the velocity up with a harder alloy.

    just loaded up tow load for my k98 using the lee 8mm boolit. Went with 2400 using the lee dippers for about 17 grains and 20 gr appox. I will check them out on the chrony tommorow, labor day. Shooting a harder alloy then WW.
