Should make a good 30-30 bullet with that flat nose. I can use it in 30-06, 300 win, and 30-30. Look at all the money I'm saving using one mold for 3 rifles. I'm sure the wife will appreciate my frugality.

I know it's been asked in the discussion thread a couple of times but not answered. How well does this cycle in 300BLK. Is the nose smaller than .302? Also, has anyone tried these through a FAL rifle?

Oh Oh oh, Edit to ask: since I have a 30 cal plain base check maker I'd need this in a plain base configuration. Is this possible?

Is the nose smaller than .302? Its tapered, like most rifle throats are. Also, has anyone tried these through a FAL rifle? Not that I know of.

45 2.1 I would also like to know what the dia. is ahead of the taper portion? Is it .299, .300, .301 or .302 or ?
This country has gone to hell but now there is hope for us.

Thank you for the responces. The reason for the question on the nose diameter was not about the rifle throat but about the bullet feeding up the M-4 feed ramps of the AR type rifles. Here's a pic of what they look like.

Again, thank you for the responces. However, not knowing if this bullet will function in my BLKs and FALs (my main go-to rifles) I think I'll have to pass on this mold. It's kind of a bummer - I really liked the design and weight.

This boolit feeds fine in AR 10, Cetme, H&K 91, M1A, Valmet 82 and some unusual things. We haven't tried the FALs because they're not as accurate generally as the others mentioned. Why it wouldn't feed in yours would be a mystery.
