    My dream!

My dream rifle right now would be a Ruger carbine chambered in 9mm or .45 ACP that uses Ruger American pistol mags.

A decent PCC that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I'd really prefer it doesn't look like an AR but if that's what the market wants I'll take it. I'd like it to look more like a overgrown 10/22.

    Currently casting for .223, .308, .30-06, .30-40 Krag, 9mm, .38/.357, 10mm, 44 Mag and 45 ACP.

I always wanted a light weight bolt gun in pistol caliber, but I could live with the semi auto as long as it didn't look like an AR.

Ruger isn't going to build a firearm that takes Glock mags and I can't blame them for that.

I'd love a new PC9 that takes Ruger American pistol mags.

If the truth be told I'd take any decent PCC that takes readily available mags. I know about the Hi-Point but it's fugly.

Glock, Ruger, or S&W all could do such a thing.

I too would love something along the lines of what y'all are thinking.

I've owned a couple of Ruger PC4's. They were both reasonably accurate, and 100% reliable. The only downsides are the triggers suck (I'm guessing the very heavy pull was by design), they're a bit of a pain to field strip and reassemble, and they're heavy (weighted to delay blowback).

A nice, lightweight, walnut stocked version that took non-unobtainium magazines would be the cat's meow.

    Me too
I have two Bretta Cx4 Storms that take 92 mags
    Triggers are sub-optimal
But they go bang every single time
    Really like them

Well we had marlin selling the camp carbines years back ,I had a 45 auto model and was quite handy and accurate . Only issue was the violent 30 ft ejection of the brass . Now if marlin or anyone else's would come out with a similar model that you could cherry pic what mags within reason it would take or have some sort of mag adapter system that would be just the ticket . But if I had to be limited to one brand or make of mag in a 45 cal the standard 7-8rd 1911 mags would be fine.

I'd settle for an AR 9mm that costs the same or less than the 5.56 version. There are some nifty carbines out there, but their price tags strike me as being unrealistic. I broke down and bought an ATI carbine, which I'm happy with so far, but the price I paid would have also gotten me a well-fitted out 5.56.

If the current trend continues, PSA's 9mm AR's should approach their 5.56 pricing. Hopefully.

Right now you can get a complete lower and upper for $500.00.

Other than the Ruger American magazine ; you are talking about a Marlin Camp 9 or Camp 45 carbine. They can be found and the ones I have fired have been great.

What about the Keltec Sub-2000? It comes in 9mm or 40 and can be ordered for use with Smith, Sig, Beretta or Glock mags.

probably not and id could live with the ruger American mags as long as theyd make some 20-30 round mags. Cant see why ruger hasn't reintroduced that gun with the way tactical rifles have taken over the market place. It seems like a no brainer to me. But then I'm not a bean counter.

Ruger has discontinued some fine guns in the past ten years. The P series pistols come to mind.
The PC and Deerfield .44 as well.

Tell the CEO of Ruger how much you would love to see Ruger build a PCC.
