    Carlifornia Saeco Green

    I made my first attempt at home lube last night. I made a batch of Saeco green using the formula listed in the "Just the Facts" sticky. I haven't found alot of data on the site searches that I did. What has been the normal velocities, for those of you that have used it, at which it fails?

    That stuff works ok at 45acp speeds for close range "firecracker" shooting. I personally think very little of that lube. Most of my shooting is done at J-word speeds in rifles and long barrelled single shot pistols with accuracy the first consideration. California Saeco Green simply will not do it. Most of the lithi-bee type lubes will do a far far far better job.

    i have some saeco green from the factory in the garage somewhere.
    swapped some magma commercial lube for it.
    i was adding white lith and some lanolin to it when i did use it.
