Moonie, you are welcome. Here is another clever project using "Split Rings".
Copper hangers are for copper tube to prevent dissimilar metal damage.

Made this last week in my "spare" time. I had everything except the wooden dowel rod, 9 bucks and change at HD.
Kicker, I think you will like the modification. For me it really seems to make the press easier to operate.
