What is everyone's favorite 6 cavity mold from Lee for 38 Special. I want to get something for loading volume, I want to avoid bevel base and gas check. The 105 gr looks good but i have never had a boolit that small for 38.

It makes your lead go alot farther and shoots well. You can also use it in 9mm and 38 Super.

Do not argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Has anyone confirmed the 6 cavities are using the newer of the two shapes? I really want to avoid the bevel base.

You could remove the bevel. I shoot the 105 gr. and it's an accurate little plinker.
Aim small, miss small!
The Lee 125 RF is one of the best bullets I've ever used. 357-38, rifle or pistol , 100yds and under. I haven't been impressed with the 105gr Lee at 50 yds and over.
The Lee 105gr SWC is one of the most accurate bullets in my S&W 686
I use a lot of the 358-150-1R. It has a long bearing surface, but still loads short and makes for very smooth ICORE / action shooting reloads.
The TL 358-158-SWC shoots very well in my .38s and .357s over 3.5 gr Bullseye.

Love it. 2.7-3.5 gr BE, or 4.0 gr Unique. Good target loads, my wife likes 'em for practice with her snubbie.
Airplanes and guns should always be made out of metal.
I have good results with the 158 swc. Shoots well and is, to me, the right weight for the cartridge. Can't get excited about the really light bullets.
I like the TL 358-158-RN myself. Shoots well in my revolvers and rifles. In fact, I cast up 300 of them last night!
My favorite Lee design for the 38Spl is the 105gr. My K38 would print sub 2" at 50 yards with that bullet.
The 125-gr RNFP 6-cav that I've had for about a year now is flat base. That is a great all around boolit. The 105-swc is also great to have. Both are fairly economical to use. Both are accurate in every gun that I've used them in. If you want to bump it up a bit, for more knock down power, there is also a 158-grain version of the RNFP.

I have both the 125 RF and the 158RF in six cavity molds. I use the shorter bullet for all shooting up to 50 yards or so and use the larger bullet for carbine loads for longer ranges. Both shoot accurately for me and casting goes fast if I heat the mold before I start casting.
I love the 158 RF myself. I've also been playing with the "Keith style" 150 SWC lately--but mostly because it lets me make a nice 125 IDPA PF load that's a bit more accurate in my gun than the 158 is....
Would LOVE to see lee release the 158 SWC as a non-tumble-lube design...

I have the 160 RNFP GB boolit and it is so close to the 158 RNFP that I can not remember why I took it over catalog Lee mold (Lube Groove??).
It shoots well in 38 SPL casesout of my Blackhawk and GP100.
I have the 6 banger in WC but have yet to run any lead in it. I hope it is accurate for practice loads to 50 yds. and will likely load some for social occasions here in the house
