    Lyman 45 ?

Anyone know what the last production year for the Lyman 45 was?

I think it was around 1967. The Fourth Edition of Handloader's Digest (1968) shows the 45 as "DISCONTINUED" and replaced by the 450. A review in that Digest mentions that the 45 is no more, its replacement better suited to heavy resizing and the resizing of larger boolits.

I bought mine in 1971 and it was used. I remember the year because it was the same year I got started in casting. I still have it and it still works great. I have rebuilt it once. I also have a 450 and I've rebuilt it once.
