    Wolf primers

I have been using Wolf primers in my .30 carbine with 2400 powder and Lymans 311359 bullet, recently I traded for a case of Wolf primers and when I opened them I found that they say "small rifle, .223 primers, does anyone know if I need to change my load. They seem to seat the same as the ones I have been using, Thanks for any help.

Those should mean that they have the heavier/thicker cup to elimate slam fires.

+1 to jcwit - the only difference is the cup. As long as your carbine hits hard enough to fire them reliably, you won't see any difference.

Thanks Fellas for the info. I will be shooting them in both my carbine and old model blackhawk. both seem to dent the old primers pretty good so I suspect they will do ok.
