    MiHec 432-256, the H&g #503 copy

I cast some 432-256 boolits yesterday. They sure are pretty and weigh 262 grs from my alloy. I sized and lubed 50 in a .430 die. I was afraid they were sized alittle small for my Redhawk. But I don't have a .431 die so loaded some up anyway. Over 18 grains of 2400 and a Federal Match primer they shot great. My best group was 1.3 inches at just over 25 yards. I'll take that anyday.

I also used the 18gr load of 2400 with this boolit and got pretty decent results. I used the Win-WLP and I think it was a bit hotter than needed. I am going to give the Wolf LP a try next as it seemed to do MUCH better in both my 41 and 45 Colt with similar loads.

I have settled on 19.6 gr 2400 and a LP primer (CCI or Fed). I honed my .431 die to .432, so I shoot them as cast. My throats as a touch on the large side.

    This #503 clone mold feeds my 3 .44's, 2 being magnums and 1 being a .44 spl.
The long barrel .44mag gets charged with 23.5gr H110 with a mag primer
The snubby .44mag gets 12.5gr HS-6 with a mag primer
    The .44 spl like 2 loads, 9.3gr HS-6 and 10.0gr HS-6

3 of 4 of these loads are one ragged holes groups. The snubby produced about a 2" group at 25yds, for obvious reasons.

    Awesome mold and boolit!
