Casted up a couple batches since I've gotten the mold but just now getting around to getting them ready to load and shoot.

Mold was preheated on hot plate on Med.-Hi for about 30 min. before casting to get the pins nice and hot. Casting pot temp was right at 800.

Alloy was 50/50 WW/PB fluxed with sawdust,before casting I gave the HP pin tips a light coat of sprue plate lube. Bullets dropped out nicely right off the bat. I gas checked and pan lubed about 100 today to try in the 357 next week. The pic below is my pan lubed bullet along side acl864's bullet cast from same mold/alloy,tumble lubed and gas check left off and shot into wet pak media in a 38 Spec. with 3.5 grs. Bullseye.

Many of the local law enforcement officers are carrying the Taurus Judge in 45 Colt off duty; I'm handloading the 270gr HP for them for "social reasons". They all love that big fat slug, even in a small 5 shooter.
