Who can draw up a design? I like to cast with 2 molds at a time. 2 eight holers would be awesome to work with. Can we get a 102-105 grain rn as well as a little longer 115 grain rn? I would order one of each.

To determine the weight of a design, there are two parts of the design -- body and nose.

The body is just a cylinder, with perhaps a bit subtracted from it if you have lube grooves. Pretty simple calculation.
    http://www.web-formulas.com/Math_For..._Cylinder.aspx

The nose of the bullet can be a bit more complicated.

If it is a truncated cone, it's a simple enough calculation.
    http://www.web-formulas.com/Math_For...e_of_Cone.aspx

If it is an ellipsoid, it's not too bad either.
    http://www.web-formulas.com/Math_For...Ellipsoid.aspx

When you start talking about a tangent ogive or a secant ogive, it gets a bit more complicated.

    http://tmtpages.com/tech/tangent_ogive.htm

From what I've gathered in this conversation, you are wanting a particular nose profile, so calculate the volume of the nose and then subtract that from the total volume needed for the desired weight, and then work back from that to determine the length of the body of the bullet.

8 cavity round nose with lube groove at 100 to 102 grain, flat base casting at .358 dia. for .380 auto. I'll throw my hat in for this mold.

I guess they need to get a *real* computer then...

Or just use the forum's web interface on their phone.

I tried Tapatalk... Didn't like it...

To each their own. There are a bunch of forum readers. Any of them are better than browser viewing on a phone.

Many websites do not work well with any touchscreen devices, regardless of how large the screen might be.

I'd be interested in an 8 cav 115+ grain RNFP. There is plenty of room on the LEE sized blocks and with a bullet this light it would be easier to keep it hot than a 6 cav.

I'd be interested in something like this (6-8 cav) to shoot out of a 380.
