Duke at the time I got my dies BT was not making any or was anyone else making any for sale. I got dies from BT and would have gotten my 224 dies from him also. It was not a matter of saving money but getting dies that would work in the presses i already own. I understand your a fan of BTs and do not have a dog in this fight so why do you insist on commenting. Its not helping anyone. If you have anything helpful please share.

BT was very much talking about upcoming 224 sets. Why do you think I and a bunch of others held off, waiting? It was due to BT's reputation for honesty in business, and quality in product.

Versus jumping the gun, and getting.... well.... stuck as a few have.

You guys should, at this point:
    1) Get 45Nut (Ken) to allow you to post a DEADBEAT thread, detailing the situation.
    2) Consider taking legal action, in small claims court to get $$$ and press back.
    3) Do a little detective work, and find other ways to get to this deadbeat. Job? Where's he living? Sending demand notices to his employer will get him in hot water at work, etc.

Unless you guys are still buying the spider bite BS...........

Way ahead of you. Know where he works, his home addresses, cell and home phone numbers and know that he does not have a business license. Got full name birthday and everything i need to file. Just waiting on the paperwork from my attorney.

Well again thanks for all the support and ideals but back to what I said he was not making them at the time. And waiting for a unknown date of when is not my ideal of being smart. But back to the point you dont have a dog in this fight so why are you so hard press in lighting up a torch and picking up a rope to hunt him down. Was I over on the 45/70 brass buy beating a dead horse. Step back and look at the over all pic and say to yourself are you past being helpful and moved on to something else?

Well, that confirms then that this deadbeat is not dying of a spider bite, nor is he hospitalized. I've said, so many times before: I don't have a horse in this race. But I hate seeing people get screwed here, especially when it was predicted that it was coming. I brought this thread back to life, hoping that those who are out of money or product will understand that they should pursue their case.

Let us know how it works out.

Would it be too much to ask if you have ordered from him and not received dies to say "I"?
"Consequently we move away from other shooters to remain focused on our passion, as our ideas are quickly dismissed or misunderstood by others. Sharing does not come easily for swagers, not because they are necessarily selfish, but because they have been whittling away in their only little world for so long, that being able to relate to others what they understand is no simple task."

Internet FRAUD is a nasty jail time game.

I suggest that you file claims with the FBI:

Years ago, I had a Russian guy arrested and deported for an eBay scam. So, I know it works!

    Anyone live out that way?
I lived there many years ago when I worked for the FS. Still have a couple friends that live there..both very small towns that actually run into each other. Nice, nice, country, good folks there, with the exception of at least one evidently..about 200 miles from where I live now.

Well, he already didn't already follow through today as he said he would.
I suggest that those of you who got screwed to also report this guy to eBay as a thief. And, to report him to the FBI. He'll lose his abilities to list items.

Just a bump to get more interesting comments and I am sure this horse can take some more beating. BTW anyone that has a set of his dies and on the nose die ejection rod, I kept bending mine so I drilled it out to 3/32 and got a SS tig welding rod for a ejection rod works great for me. Sorry to hear others got screwed over on the deal. If he heat treated the dies and followed threw with his orders this was a cheap set of dies to see if you wanted to start out with. Maybe someone will pick up making dies around the same price range for those that want to test the waters.

Yep! Still a scare on the face of this great swage sight and a wound that still must hurt several here.

You mentioned a cheap allternative for anyone wanting to test the waters of swaging....... I still, and will always say there is no better, or cheaper option then the 40 cal one step die!

    Good shooting and swage on!
