TC, Try this guy.I have bought 3 full stocks and 1/2 dozen forearms to replace cut ones on C/W muskets. His are 98% done. I know of two guys that had copies of stocks done with their wood.I would call him.

If shooting, fixing, making and thunking were easy.Everyone would be doing it.

There's a guy that goes by "Shum8" on the MarlinOwners forum that does this. Several members have had stocks done with great satisfaction. Good prices too, I gather.

Try this guy, he's the stock instructor that taught Echol's and many others at Trinidad Gun School before he retired.

His goal is to have it done and on the way back within four days. Last several I've had him turn cost $40 + $10 for UPS.

He don't believe in computers, too much porno and crap he says, plus he's too busy turning blanks for the 'good stock makers around the country. he's also got a fair supply of wood and very trustworthy. You can explain what you want, and he'll come real close to matching it.

send me an e/mail at georgeld@hotmail.com and I'll send you some pics of three or four he's made for me. But, he only roughs them out, you'll have to do the final inletting and finishing work.

He has a great selection of patterns so find out the proper name, size and style etc and he should have it on hand.

I recently purchased a Radar Carve model one Duplicator. Anyone have any experience setting one up so it carves correctly? I sent them, radarcarve, an email asking for instructions but haven't heard from them yet.
