Just wanted to toss out a few pictures on My Colt ACE

I had it since 78 and later got a 45acp Colt slide , chrome barrel cheap out the shot gun news new and the rest of the small parts.
Yes I was backwards man today everyone gets a 45 and later says it cost to much and gets a 22lr kit
Anyway when Katrina hit in 2005 the top end was off and it was wet and sat as i never knew in the mess we had that it was.
I call to Colt netted me a rebule and clean for 80 bucks for the slide and like 60-70 for a new white dot site and they tossed in a white outline rear blade for my old eyes
yes it has an old king beaver tail from the 70's when it and the trigger was done
I ended up not using those Kimber junk mags and got some new real ones again

My cousins' uncle had one of those at about that time, I remember shooting it and his two Diamondbacks (4" and 6") a lot. We killed a lot of tin cans and not a few starlings with those guns.

What are your grips made of?

Those are custom Larry Davidson's monkey grips think it is 3-G material it is very thin layers so it gives that look when cut on a CNC machine
Mine had 3 pattern as they goes across golf ball and 2 more
