    local gun show

I went to a small gun show today, and was almost lucky enough to get back out without spending anything but the 5.00 entry fee. lol

The only thing I brought home was 115 30/30 brass, 40 of which were new primed brass, for 10 bucks.
one guy had rcbs die sets for 10 bucks a piece, but he only had 2 sets left, 44 mag (of which I have 2 already) and 340 weatherby mag, that I would never have any use for. I started to pick them up any way, in case anyone here needed them.

Went o one today myself. Picked up 170 rounds of 20 gauge Seller and Bellot #6 shot in 10 round packages for $20.00

There was a nice Navy Arms SXS 12 choked F&F, They wanted $200.00 for it. I talked myself out of it twice, was going back for it, and watched it walk away with it's new owner.

6.5X55 Swedish Kag, barreled action. they had done some funky octagon barrel with an intergal vented rib on it (in the white) $650.00

    Remington 760 in 270 for $300.00

Savage 340 in 30-30 Win. for $200.00 no mag.

Only other thing that caught my eye was a stainless Rossi 92 in 44 Mag. But at $469.00 it didn't stick.

Ammo was out of sight high, No components worth speaking of. Only 3 Krags. disappointing

I would have been $400 poorer due to the Navy Arms shotgun and the Savage 340.

I have had bad luck at gun shows, i think there just isn't enough demand to get the supply here sadly, i wish i could find cheap components or equipement, but everybody thinks they have gold.
Raisin' Black Angus cows, outta gas, outta money, outta tags, low on boolits, but full 'a hope on the Rocky Mountain Eastern Slope!
Why does a man with a 7mag never panic buy? Because a man with a 7mag has no need to panic!

Except for one dealer, at our local shows, Nobody carries less than retail+. The experienced guns are same price as NIB.
I've just about decided not to go anymore. I can save $8. and the gas money, by buying local
