    Thanks for the info guys. was It common to put two different boolits in the same mold? also the mold is in great shape with handles, value???

    It would seem from my research and observation that the two cavity moulds cut with two different cherries are more likely products of the 1930's & 1940's era during those lean economic times. I've seen a lot of .30 Caliber rifle designs along with a #50 pistol wadcutter two cavity moulds. That would have served a depression era shooter with limited funds very well. I imagine a surplus Krag or 03, along with a Colt or S&W .38 would have been a staple of hunters and shooters in those days.

    I have a dual cavity #51 Plain Base and a #50 PB that would be my "one choice" if I had to live in the 1930's. One bullet for hunting, one for target shooting.

    After World War Two, and the prosperity of the 1950's and 60's, I don't see those dual cherry molds as often.

    That's what makes sense to me.

    A mould's value is worth what someone is willing to pay for it at that moment. Incontrovertible value is established at the moment of sale.

    If I had to guess, if it's in new condition, it would easily fetch $75 or more if offered for sale.

    Looking for Ideal mold 419181 (44 Evans Long)
    "Joined Dates" are deceiving if you factor-in "lurk" dates.
