    Bolt action re assembly.

I have a T3 lite in 308. It is new and was recently sent back to the dealer as one of the screws from the rings came adrift in transit and scratched the stock.

It has since come back with a replacement stock but covered in fingermarks. I need to take the action out of the stock to give it a proper clean to prevent acid etching or rusting.

Is the sequence of doing up the action screws important, and is screw tension important?

try and feel how tight they are now when you take it apart. I try not to over do it when you tighten them up. I would do snug and then just a little bit more so it doesn't fall apart.
