Wow, I just shot some of these in my carbine into wet sand with a load of 6 grs of Unique in 44 special cases and got perfect mushrooms. The hex was just a hair larger but both mushrooms folded over to the base of the bullet or a little beyond and .75-.79 inches in diameter. I was very pleased with the results and I want to now work on a load that will just function in my Ruger Deerslayer. I'm guessing it will take somewhere between 14-17 grs of 2400 to do the job. It should be a very pleasant round to shoot. This will be a close range deer/pig gun.
This country has gone to hell but now there is hope for us.
