Might as well get in on this one, too; 1 .432 with large pins, 4 cavity. crittrcallrATsbcglobalDOTnet.

    Thanks

    Welcome, Sheriff.
Sheriff, I put you down for penta pins. At the moment I'm under the assumption the large pins are the penta's, and the small pins come standard with the mold.
Waiting to hear back from Miha to clarify exactly what he has in mind. I'd like to see large and small round, large penta and plug pins all available. We'll see.

I'd like a 4 cavity .432 with the large Penta pins.

Thanks. I'm looking for the 'deeper', 'wider' cavity. I'll be running these in a .44spec, 30:1, at 800 to 900fps.

Just curious, if you still have any extra of the brass, 4-cavity, H&G #68, 200 gr SWC, plain base, 0.452, solid moulds available. I'd like one of those too. Otherwise, I will be first in line for the next run.

Welcome, Steak Daddy. Have a look here . .

    Looks like you're in luck!

Regarding the large pins, still haven't heard back about large round pins, etc.. I do know the large penta pins ordinarily cast about the same weight as round. Looking at the drawing, the opening is approximately the same for large and small, and the large is deeper. I don't expect the large pins, whether penta or round, to produce a "flying ashtray" type boolit.
Soon as I hear back I'll post Miha's answer.

Sam, thanks for the tip off, I just sent a PM.

From my perspective, I'm fine with either Penta or Round in the large HP pins, whatever Mihec ends up offering.

    Thanks for the welcome.

I don't, except that I read Miha is going into business for himself, so maybe that means sooner than otherwise once he's not making moulds after hours.

Miha got back to me regarding the pin types for this buy . .

"Small, large and pentas will be available for this one."

He also hopes to have some pictures soon! I can't say for sure whether the penta pins will be large or small–usually they're large–but large and small round pins are available. For now we'll say small round are included, and large penta pins and round pins (along with plugs and blanks) are the options.

    Sam,
If small round pins are included, I would like to add a set of large round to both orders. I figure the large round will do nice for .44 Spl. and the small round will do well for the magnum.

Roger, I had a feeling you'd go for the large round pins if they were offered. I agree they'll make it nice for a Special.
