    IMR 4007ssc

I purchased a jug of IMR 4007ssc a few weeks ago to give it a try. I tried it in the ole thurdy-thurdy with cast and j's along with the 300 win mag and j's. I acquired roughly 3/4" groups with both guns and both boolit types. It didn't shoot quite as well as specific powders with specific boolits in the particular guns. Though, it gave acceptable results. The IMR 4007ssc seemed versatile in the gun/load/boolit applications that I tried. I'm not sure how it meters, as I weighed each load.

My Spanish FR-8 Mauser (7.62x51 Nato) loves 45 grains of IMR-4007ssc under the NOE 316299.

I have an unopened lb of this powder and have been meaning to try it in my .22-250.
