Started when I was 16 with a Lyman single cavity 429244 for the .44 Magnum...still have and use the mould.
I'm now 64 so that means I've been casting since 1960...have added a signifcant amount of casted calibers and moulds since then.
48 years experience.

Lets see........ I am 40 this Month ......... Started casting with my dad when I was around 10..... took a few years off to tour the world courtesy of Uncle Sam and the US. Army so add about 20 years to the number

Wow, it is amazing how it all adds up. I started casting in 1977. That was 32 years ago. I will knock of 2 years for my tour in Afghanistan and part of my hospitalization and call it 30 years. Casting has been good therapy for me, helping me regain some of the fine motor skills that I lost.
