    Hitch cover

Just for fun. I give you….my hitch cover.

I most people out on the road will have no idea what it is, but the cool one’s will!
I am thinking it needs some .22 splatter to finish it off right.

Exactly my first thought, but if it DOES draw fire, hope it's accurate fire and it will deflect the spatter backwards rather than into the spare tire, diff cover, or fuel tank!

I suspect you could easily get rid of a hundred or two of these. If you had a way to stamp 'em out one per stroke you might even make a profit!

Seriously, great idea, +1 on a couple boolit spatters!

Cool... If it was made out of 1/2" plate, it would be even better... Trailer hitches are not just for towing things... They're for causing more damage to cars that bump into you in minor fender benders while reducing the damage done to you... I had a woman run into the back of my pickup at one time because she wasn't paying attention when traffic on the expressway slowed down... My receiver mounted trailer hitch ripped through her front grill and sliced a keyhole through her radiator while doing no damage to my rear bumper... I think she might have knocked some of the dirt off my trailer hitch though...

Nice but you are telling everyone that guns might be in the truck/car.

Depending upon where you live, that would be the assumption anyway... Of course, many of us are old enough to remember when pickups had gun racks in the rear window, people left their rifles there, and they didn't lock the doors... AND no one ever stole them...

Yes and keys in the ignition and when you got back the UPS driver had put your package in your rig -

But I don't think that applies today, does it.
