Like anywhere else some guys think thier gun goes up in value as soon as they buy it.Others are more reasonable,you just have to look around.Last year I found a marlin 1895 first year of production with 7 grooves and a box of ammo for 425.00.Made me happy anyway...Robin

you know them 7 grooves will cause accuracy problems due to the imbalance it puts on the boolit.
