Just bought an antique 36cal BP cap muff pistol.
Anyone ever tried one of these before ? If so what is the BP load ? I am familiar to reloading but never tried a BP handgun before and don't wanna push it too far.
Thanks

Is that a screw barrel pistol?
Unscrew the barrel from the frame. There should be a powder chamber in the frame. Fill the chamber with FFFg black powder (it will probably take 10-15 grains) and place an oversize ball on top. Screw the barrel back onto the frame, compressing the ball into the bore and sealing it. Cap and shoot.
Yes it is a screw barrel. I get it now.
Thanks.
