Cool Value of a Marlin 39A

I believe it was manufactured in the 50's? At least 95%.

    Thanks,

    Sam

You would be able to get $450-maybe $500 for it in this region.

I just recently sold one on Gunbroker that had some issues and If I'm not mistaken got about $275 for it !

However it had several D&T holes in the barrel that had plug screws . also had some noticable pitting on the outside of the barrel and the action . Gun was made in the early 60's .

We also just sold another that was made in the 80's or 90's and got $450 .

I've kinda been looking for a 39A Mountie for myself that was made from 1964 to 1968 . And all I've seen of those in a condition I would like have been $500+ !

But alotta times Mountie's with the 20" barrel bring a hair more then 39A's with the 24" barrel !

Sam I think $400-$450 is in the ballpark based on what I have seen around here. I purchased one a few months back and the asking price was $460. I negotiated it down to just over $400. It is marked Original Golden 39A. Hope this helps.
