    RCBS 32 mold

I picked up a nice condition used RCBS 32-170-FN rifle mold today. Has
anyone cast with this one? I am hoping to use it for 8x57, not sure what
diameter the thing will put out.

That's my favorite bullet for the .32 Winchester Special. I've not tried it in 8mm.

Same for me on the 32spl they are made for each other( a match made in heaven). Since mine dropped a little bigger I sized some to .323 loaded in rem. brass 32 grs IMR4895 win. primer= ragged hole at 50yds in my yugo m48. The one cav. is big enough that it might upset to .325, but I picked up a old 323471 lyman in perfect shape for my 8mm so I have another to play with.

OK, so now I have to buy a Win 94 in .32 Spl - just no choice in the matter, no other
    possible solution. . . . . . . .

Sounds like it will be a bit small for 8mm.

I've shot the RCBS 32-170-FN in a 8mm Mauser. For the Mauser, with faster twist, Longer (heavier) boolits are more aptly suited as far as I'm concerned.

I have one of those also and it can cast .324. I've shot them in a Comission rifle with a .323 groovebut not enough to really wring out details. It stabilized and showed promise. I was using varget also.

Marlin makes a nice one too, maybe 2 rifles are needed!

Then you bought it from me. There seemed to be a few people wanting 32/8mm rifle molds. I brought another the next day but did not sell it.

Well, we had a bit of a discussion about not needing hard alloy for magnum handgun
loads. Nice to meet you - sorry I didn't know you were a Cast Boolit personat the time.
