    lyman 45 help

    Just got a lyman 45 lube sizer that needs work. I am close to making it work, but need to know what dies will work on this and a list to id. top punches or any helpfull info.

    Regular Lyman and RCBS dies and top punches will work.

    The dies are held by a set screw in the front of the body. JUST be darn careful not to over tighten as you will crack the housing!!!

    Lyman 45 and Lyman dies. RCBS will work, as well, though some casters have found they don't.

    Lyman's Cast Bullet Handbook third edition, has a Lyman mould/top punch cross reference.

    I was wondering the same thing. I'm trying to get a Lyman 45 back into a working condition as well.
