Well hats off to you my friend the filler loads are the ticket. As I feared the crimp loads were a bust - great for consistant velocity but crimping these little bullets is definately a no go as far as accuracy. So filler it will be. Basically cut down the 100 yard group by half at just over 2" thats as good as most 55gr FMJ surplus loads !

    Chrony data:
    1. 1948
    2. 1795
    3. 1854
    4. 1846
    5. 1893

Average Vel: 1867.2 FPS I'm not going to worry about ES/SD on this 5 shot group I'll do a 10 shot.

Got the next group loaded up, but I'm supposed to getting my new toy in tomorrow (PSA AR) so that might pre-empt shooting these! I'll keep ya posted.

crimp and accuracy do not work well together.
If you think a bit on it why would it?

Amazing aint it? I would rather not have to mess with the dacron but it makes a big difference in my 5.56 also. I am using A2520 as I got some 8lb kegs for $50. each.

I want one of the custom 5.56 moulds too.

I went out today and put these through my new PSA 16" with 1:7" twist. Full function as usual. Accuracy was good at 50 yards but was opened up quite a bit at 100 yards. So for this rifle it will be a close range target round. Maybe I'll go to 18.5 gr with this one and slow the bullets alittle might help tighen the group some.
